A variety of Valentine cards

Flower gift bags

I made this gift bags for a get together
I cut and then sewed together red felt pieces to make petals , like a flower then using the hot glue gun added the button in the middle ,
I filled each bag with goodies , homemade chex party mix, tea bag & hot chocolate

Strawberry Jam * busy , busy, busy

Last week I spent one whole day making Strawberry Jam

An excellent recipe , easy to follow I used this recipe last year as well
I would love ot hear from anyone that tries this recipe or anyother recipes you may have or come across on any site , let yourself have fun , cook , lol

Recipe below .......................remember to sterilize jars before you begin

Strawberry Jam Recipe :

5cups starwberries - about 8 cups of whole starwberries
1 Tblsp fresh lemon juice
2 tblsp pectin , powder
7 cups sugar
3 tblsp balsamic vinegar

measure 2 cups of strawberries at a time
mix strawberries in a blender- puree but chunks
add everything to the pot except the sugar , stir constantly
once it boils add sugar, mix with a wisk
boil one minute ,hard boil
skim foam from the top
then pour into jars
* makes about 8-10 jars , when making this jam recipe I doubled the recipe
