Last week I spent one whole day making Strawberry Jam
This recipe is from http://www.thefrugalchef.com

An excellent recipe , easy to follow I used this recipe last year as well
I would love ot hear from anyone that tries this recipe or anyother recipes you may have or come across on any site , let yourself have fun , cook , lol

Recipe below .......................remember to sterilize jars before you begin

Strawberry Jam Recipe :

5cups starwberries - about 8 cups of whole starwberries
1 Tblsp fresh lemon juice
2 tblsp pectin , powder
7 cups sugar
3 tblsp balsamic vinegar

measure 2 cups of strawberries at a time
mix strawberries in a blender- puree but chunks
add everything to the pot except the sugar , stir constantly
once it boils add sugar, mix with a wisk
boil one minute ,hard boil
skim foam from the top
then pour into jars
* makes about 8-10 jars , when making this jam recipe I doubled the recipe

have fun , send pictures :)Laurie

  2. Laurie, for some reason the comment section is set for Spanish, I can read and write Spanish, but I prefer English. Can you fix this, I can't seem to get it fixed.
